Case Management
Description: Case management services at Blue Horizon are to assist counselors, physicians, teachers, family members, and patients in locating appropriate treatment for those with eating disorders.
Services include but are not limited to: - Assessment and evaluation services
- Out patient care plan for compulsive eating, emotional eating, binge eating disorder and other eating disorder cases not meeting criteria for intensive out patient treatment.
- Provision of updated information on treatment centers
- Locating and matching the appropriate treatment center to fit patient needs
- Assistance with initial contacts to treatment centers and then follow through
- Assistance with basic insurance guidance
- Assistance with how to maximize benefits and other possible resources of financial support
Workshops and In-services
Description: On-site training program for schools/colleges and universities, medical practices, counselors and therapists, dietitians, and hospitals to assist in the recognition and treatment modalities of eating disorders.
In-service options include but are not limited to: - 1-hour lunch and learn
- 3-hour workshop that can be held during or outside of business hours
- Packet of materials designed for screening and evaluation purposes
- Individualized in-service designed to meet needs of your practice or business
